Can anyone reccommend decent pair of binos around £500
I can't take the pain of losing another silly money pair

Thanks in advance

I have a pair of Leupold HD 10X42‘s they’re pretty good and Leupold has a half way decent guarantee and customer service.
Theres very little difference between them and my more expensive Euro glasses.

If you can find within your budget then the Zeiss Conquest HD 10x42 might be a good option, if their ergonomics work for you.

Although no-name brand in the stalking world the Vanguard Endeavour ED II 10x42 have been well reviewed and represent very good value for money.

I've owned both of these and the Vortex mentioned on your other thread.

My daughter has bought a pair of Kowa bins and I must admit to be amazed. I have a pair of Leica 8x40 which I use for birding but they are 4 million years old and weigh a ton.

Out of stock in this link but see if you can find some Athlon Midas UHD. I looked through a set of these recently and they are unbelievably good for less than £300. Transferable lifetime no quibble warranty as well.

I had Vortex Viper HD for years before I "upgraded"

They were very good but honestly there is nothing between them and the Midas UHD. Very very similar performance to my eyes and half the price. Both are made in China.

The Viper range is made in the Philippines. The Crossfire HDs or the Diamondback HDs which are made in China.

Running from the top of the range to the bottom the lineup sits as:

Razor UHD
Razor HD
Viper HD
Diamondback HD
Crossfire HD
We'll have the full range at the British Shooting Show next weekend which gives a good opportunity to compare the range against other brands (We won't be offended! We want you to find the binoculars that suit you.)
