Not even close I’m afraid - I have looked through the helix side by side and to my eyes the features and view is far better on the Arken.

I would have to agree that Arken is a better optic than an Element, I've had both and don't get me wrong the Element was a good scope, worked nicely with the Pard and tracked very well. Some of the features on the Arken just appeal to me more...plus Matt Dubber isn't affiliated with Arken 😊

Some issues reported stateside with debris inside Arken tubes visible at low mag

Look on the optics area of the Hide for confirmation

User name BigJimFish does some excellent optics tests think there is about to be released reviews of sub 2k optics and a second one of above that price value

Hi @gixer1 I'm looking to put one of these on a .22LR soon, with 20MOA rail. Looking at mount sizes, would I get away with low mounts or would I have to go medium/high? Just in reference to your comments about the scope being a chunker 😂

One minor issue - the scope and turrets are a bit “chunky”…fitted it on the rifle and put it in my cabinet and noticed it needs to be rotated to fit in….🤦🏻‍♂️
I have "cheap UTG" quick release pic rail mounts and as long as I put them on in the same place and push the sight hard (forward) against the rail as i close the quick release lever I get a true return to zero
I'm shooting at 600yards and seeing perfect realignment on my Vortex sight - so I am removing the sights prior to locking up the rifle in the cabinet
I acknowledge if you have the space why wouldnt you lock up he sights as well but theres also the risk of damaging the sight with it clanking around in the cabinet

Hi mate, I would recommend you go with the Arken mount - they are very cheap for what they are and are very well made, and will give you 20 MOA which will get you out to around 400 yards with a 22 and subs. 👍🏻

A year and half on and I have a few Arkens, several of their one piece mounts and still think they are fantastic scopes, there’s almost a running joke that I was promoting them at a club I’m in but about 8-10 people now have Arken’s atop their rifles!

Still highly recommended - I have heard of you shoot Mil’s then the DNT “the one” is pretty much the same scope at the EP5 Gen 2 but has smaller increments on the reticle (think it’s .2 Mils instead of .5 on the Arken)

I shoot MOA so it doesn’t really effect me but maybe worth a look for some.

Regards,
Gixer

It's all your fault I bought one to put on my T1X Garry! - really impressed with the built quality and functions compared to the Hawke, Vortex and Vector Optics Scopes I have (I am reluctant to spend 1000's on Glass if Arken can keep "producing the goods") which surprised me tbh.

If you can get close to high end optics at a fraction of the price, why not!

I've had a hankering for one of these for a while, I've had a EPL4 and that was good for its price point.

I've been asked to do a review on a CV Eagle Blaze 6-25 and when I got it out the box it was on par with the Arken I had, albeit the EPL4, build quality is the same as the Arken.

Featuring Japanese ED glass and under £300 it seems good.

Need to get it out though! And have a proper look through it

I've put it on my .22-250 to see how it fairs out to 400yrds on small vermin.

I think you will get on very well with the Arken! Superb scopes for the money and highly recommended.

Just received my ep5 moa. Will be going on a cz457 Range with 20 moa rail. Only downside rifle is on backorder. All the bits sat here waiting to get put together.
First time ive bought a new (modern) scope in ages, so far extremely impressed. Can't wait to get it mounted.
