Arken optics

Anyone got an Arken optics EP4 scope?

I’ve watched a few reviews and they seem to get a good review, just looking for something for long range 22LR.

Yes, got one on my 223 but not used much yet and an epl4 plus ep5. One of which will be off on my 22 for the same purpose, whilst not used much very impressed with glass,, reticle and turrets.

Compared then with a few scopes side by side and the consensus from me and several mates was better than a vortex pst2 Optically
All subjective of course to personal eyes and hope they hold up under use.

Plan is to use them all year on two rifles in CSR and precision 22 at diggle so time will tell

Not the same model, but I picked up an Arken sh4 6-24 off a prize table in December 2023 and have been very impressed with it so far. I wouldnt call the glass "excellent". but what you get for the money is excellent value. The adjustment is very crisp and the numbers on the turret are large and easy for me to see compared to a lot of other scopes I have used. The range I shoot at goes to 500 meters and all the data I tried from 100 to 500 meters was accurate and repeatable.

The downfall of many Chinese made budget scopes is bad heat haze at the higher end of the magnification range (in Australia at least - maybe not an issue in the UK?), but so far the Arken has done a better job than some of the other low end scopes I have tried.

I had it on my PRS 6 Dasher last weekend checking data. This photo is later in the morning making hits on the gong at 500 meters off the barricade. Based on my results so far, I would rate it the best in its class.
