Artkis drag bag anyone got one what do you think

I bought one and have been a bit disappointed with it. The stitching came loose after very little use, which lead to the padding coming out.

I bought an Ogdens one at the Keepers Fair last weekened as a replacement.

If I were you I'd go for something different.

That's good to hear Camo. I'd not heard of Ogdens before, but it looked a well made bit of kit and well thought out. The fella said it was made in England and he seemed a good bloke.

I'm hoping it does well.

I have an older Arktis bag, doesn't come close to the Aim bag, especially for padding.

I use a uk G10 drag bag and replaced the shoulder straps with GPMG slings ..feels great and unzips for a nice mat...plenty pockets to fit gortex ..spotting scope snow suit etc...hard to find but worth the hunt..

I have two Aim bags and one Artkis, the Artkis is good but not a patch on the Aim's. I have had my AIM's for over 4 years and used them a lot, they are stitch perfect still. Great protection from very solid padding and they carry a huge amount, very comfy too when walking with them. Top bit of kit.

I use the WEB-TEX bag. I prefer the actual bag, but obviously it does not open into a mat.

I just lie on the ground and get wet.

I work closely with Phil Odgen as he makes all my bags, slips, Roe Sacks etc and they are hand made in the UK, so there will probably be a Monarch drag-bag available soon...
