Agreed! The first few pages are a bit monotonous, but that is the actual piece of paper that the assessor puts ticks or crosses on. So it should all be relevant! It's not really a learning tool or a revision aid but it does show what is expected of the candidate. The whole reason for potential employers to insist on training is based around all this safety gubbins, so it's probably (sadly) more important than actual skill!The AFAG guide is the criteria that the course is based on. Agreed again, it probably is far more in depth than it needs to be, just supporting aid really.I didn't know NPTC put course notes on their website! I'll have a look.
