Rest up Boggy, Don't overdo anything, Try to enjoy the Christmas break.
I sympathize as I'm recovering from uveitis and not being able to see properly is no good. So speedy recovery to you.Well thats me back on S.D. after a seven week absence due to cataract surgery
what should have been minor surgery went badly wrong .
Only now managing to see a bit but only on dull days can't stand bright light neither sunlight nor artificial can only now just bare to
look at a television or computer screen but only for a short time as anything more than a few minutes is painful.
Back on 3rd January to find out what the problem is may just be a slow healing process due to being diabetic but will hopefully
know a bit more on the third.
To make matters worse fell over a month a go on account of not being able to see where I was putting my feet
and cracked a rib.
But I'm back lol.

Call me cynical if you like but it seems a bit extreme just to get out of loading on the 31st is it not?
Welcome back @bogtrotter
I am due home around the 2nd or 3rd so if you need anything at all, even if it's just a wee hurl out somewhere, just let me know.

Thanks for the very kind offer, but I'm sure I will be fine.
I hope the operation on your back gives you a bit of relief from the pain J, I know where you are coming from, had troubles with my back for 40 years!Never mind Jim, a couple of drams on hogmanay and the world will look normal. A bit wobbly and confused. Taking things easy myself too. Back knackered and waiting for another op. Old age is a bugg@r. J
