Barrel weights

I can't find the Blaser Specs so can someone help with my query.
I have an R8 in 30-06 with a semi weight fluted barrel which I am finding a little heavy so was considering changing the barrel to a sporter profile. The difference is from a 19mm to a 17mm barrel.
Can anybody give me the difference in weight between the two and Is it possible to sell just a barrel from a rifle to get another or would I have to sell my complete rifle with the semi weight barrel and apply for another rifle with the sporter barrell ?
I did consider asking a smith to lathe the barrel down to 17mm but then it would involve re proofing if that was even possible.

I can check what barrels I have and see if there’s anything to match what you’re asking...as for reprofiling, more trouble than it’s worth but would require proofing but could potentially end up with a banana due stress relieving.

Hmmm.

I have a Match barrel and with the fluting it weighs the same as the straight semi. So a fluted semi will probably be a bit heavier than a standard but maybe not hugely. Maybe 1/2 to 2/3 lbs. You can try and work it out from the configurator?

You can just get a variation for a different barrel no biggie?

I doubt a smith would machine a finished factory barrel
