BASC statement on IOPC report into Keyham shootings

That name alone winds me up, it should be called 'combat shotgun'. The practitioners should join the T.A. instead.
Paintball is another one! Encouraging people to point guns at others.

is that because you don’t partake in it? Then why stop at that, look at the large numbers who take part in paintball or war games using BB guns.

This and all mass shootings are about the person not the firearm used.

Not just practical shotgun which comes under the governance of the IPSC but also target shotgun for which discipline here in the U.K. the N.R.A. is the governing body.
The NRA are normally regarded as being a rather conservative bunch.

Fully understand the safety message you are getting across, however fact is the shotgun in the photo is legal to own and their are shooting disciplines that use that type.
Likewise their are players of war games who are happy to run around shooting at each other with paint balls or realistic imitation firearms shooting at each other with BB plastic pellets. Not to mention the countless shoot me up computer games.
