Well Damasteel will definitely bump the price up ....... a lot
Carbon Damascus there are very few places I trust to not be Pakistan mickey mouse metal.
No one in UK makes it in billet for others to stock remove. They usually keep forging till its knife shaped
Im also looking at

[FONT=Calibri, sans-serif]which is coming it my supplier end november Im expecting it to be more than RWL and VG10 but maybe a little cheaper than Damasteel .......... we will see....

Not yet I'm afraid. Now these four are done, next weekend, when I get home and put the kids in front of films (wife is abroad until next Monday with the kids), I plan to finish yours and windy's and get the next four all glued up.
It's taking longer than I feared with this new work / life balance thing.

Had a chance to use my knife today for the 1st time since receiving it, one of Dougster's custom builds and all I can say is; it's surgical!!! Wow what a blade, absolutely razor sharp... Anyone looking at one of these they are well worth the money...

My knife arrived today,and all of us in the office were in awe at the craftsmanship, absolutely well chuffed with the quality and the finish of the wood, and blade and especially The leather sheath just tops everything off and is fantastic.
Something special and unique to me with my very own Welsh Sycamore Handle.
I would whole heartedly encourage anyone wanting a custom knife to get in touch with Dougster.
I just need to use it on something to warrant a write up and pics.lol

Its easy to remove material but significantly harder to replace!

I'm getting a lot of enquiries, many of which are not coming to anything, so I thought I'd be up front.
These are handmade knives, made from the best materials I can source from people I have worked with for years and trust.
They come with a full guarantee of quality and satisfaction, but I am slow at times. Some have experience of the amount of time I spend getting the right materials for people to have on their knife.
They are £250 each, with a sheath of your choice, delivered to your door fully insured.
This batch will be with their owners by the end of the month, in time, I hope, to start on the four already ordered from the next batch.
