BDS South West Scotland Activity Day

Due to a cancellation (really good excuse--surgery in two weeks) there is one place available. Anyone up for it. The day will be advertised in the October edition of Sporting Rifle so I doubt if it will be around for long.

Ladies and Gents.

There will be a full house attending the Activity Day on Sunday. Please be at Cornharrow for a 0930 start. Tea and coffee will be available from 0900. The Estate will be signposted from the B729. Everything apart from the range will be indoors so the weather shouldn't be an issue. On the range you will need a minimum of 36 rounds. Please do not forget your FAC as you will need it for the range register. Bring your sticks and ear defenders as well.

Any questions please ask.

What a cracking day, got to met lots of friendly people and learnt loads (every days a school day). Well organised and worth the trip. Big thanks to everyone who made it happen. The burger were lush!

Just a thought, as a novice (a bit wet behind the ears, green but keen etc) this is the type of day that I would have loved to have had added onto the end of my level one cse.

Even the Tara the dog had a good day and is she still making her way through the bones

Thanks to Spiker and Co for organising the day and making us welcome.

Gentlemen.

Thank you I shall pass your comments on to the Committee next month. It is good to know the day was a success. I apologies to all of those I never managed to have a chat with but I became firmly embedded on the range. My original plan was to circulate-- no hope.

We are a very active branch of the BDS and I shall keep you informed of events throughout the year. You do not have to be a member to attend our events.

Enjoy the doe season.

Spiker.
