Besides stalking what is your other hobby?

I’ve recently got into CSR competition shooting. Rubbish at it but great fun. I also enjoy collecting watches. Used to ride bikes but I’ve seen enough friends get into trouble

Hey JH. Is that you off the Ducati forum who had the self-destructing Multistrada?
If so, great to see you've still got the SMT and still loving it.

I sold my 1290 SDR to buy a Harley Low Rider S. Sounds mad but don't regret it. I was getting the been-there-done-that feeling about the 1290. But I wish I still had my SMT. Sold that to buy an 1190 Adv, which I still love. But I'm debating getting rid of that as well now. I'm moving to a house with a big workshop soon. Seriously thinking about getting another SMT, or SMR and doing a ground up restoration, fully uncorked and snorting.
The Harley has made me realise how much I like old-school analogue simplicity. As a back road scratcher, my thoroughly sorted SMT was superb and not much would touch it.

That was my faultistrada. I was lucky to get out of that without being financially ruined. An SMR would be the dream, but super rare. I had a 2010 one until it got stolen. SMT is 90% as good, just losing out that bit of sex appeal. I did the airbox/remap and it turned it into an animal.

Actually sadly just now sold my SMT. Having a short break, as lost a very close family member on his bike. My little girl is still young and my wife is petrified it'll be me next so I've agreed a short break.

I'm already eyeing up something V4 though. I can see an Aprilia in my future

Is that c/o proper film and darkroom chemical printing or what can now be achieved with digital?

K
Just a small digital snapshot camera used as if B&W film was shot through a red filter, which I did used to do with film for architectural photography when the client was looking for something a little out of the ordinary.

Taking pics of any and everything is probably num 1. Taking a photo in the wild is often better than shooting the subject. Motor bikes, 4 wd`s/driving, dirt bikes, race bikes, fast cars, race/cars, horses, sheila watching (legally ha ha )

Fishing (fly for salmon / trout and lure trolling for marlin and sailfish), game and clay shooting (plus a bit of instructing now and again), vermin control, general DIY and cooking.

I dedicated much of my youth to mountain-biking and downhill skiing but I reached a point where I realised that I no longer bounce as well as I used to....

I've been partaking in some model painting this eve, something Ive done on and off since I was in school.

Just some basecoating before it gets pinwashed and highlights.

(For reference, the models is a bit smaller than a wine bottle cork)

And from Pompeii and not the tourist’s so-called base camp that takes 15-minutes.
