I agree with the Ebay recommendation. I have a couple of pairs of Zeiss vintage bins. The only real difference in optics is the weight. The glass itself is as refined as ever.
You can find 7x50 and 8x40 - the 10x50 are massive! Beware of bins that have been taken apart, but don't worry about fogging too much - it can be cleaned out by a specialist and won't necessary cost the earth.
Remember these bins (if you use the National Archive price measures) would have cost £1100+ new. I am surprised we do not see them discussed more often on here.
