I've not used one.

It is worth noting that in my experience at least the ammunition makes a vast difference in noise. Winchester 42g in particular tending to go supersonic from a cold barrel, anything reliably subsonic is quieter than the firing mechanism or bullet impact with the Parker hale.

I've heard bad reviews about Wildcats but these were for large calibers not .22lr. I was looking into the Elite Range for my .308 as it's new, but also looking into the A-TEC PRS 2. Not many videos out there for either.

I have a Muzzle Brake on my .308 but have been recommended to get a mod when shooting at Bisley. But for PRS I'll just take it off and put the muzzle brake back on.

I am using an Atec wave, very pleased. Weighs nothing and super effective. Had it on my FAC air rifle initially.

I like ones from Wildcat, also had Hardy moderators in the past and they were also excellent.

I'm about to get a new moderator for .22rf and also considering options. I previously had the old parker hale on my .22rf and can confirm that with subsonic Win Sub X or Eley Subs, it's about as loud as my PCP air rifle so may just go the same again!
