Best fox bait

As this is a hunting site it amazes me the questions asked on here tbh .Common sense alludes a section of our compardaris it appears .If the dog can’t reach it but a fox can smell it ….join the dots and move on 🤓

old charlie does like feral pigeons on the menu
i put out three ferals 20’ apart in the bottom of a valley charlie came along and put all three together and tried to carry all three off at once. greedy little so and so

I have recently tried these, chucked a few out with the trail cam set up and the fox was on them in the first night! Held it for over an hour as it was hunting for them in the grass, cheap and most importantly, convenient!

Nice one, The best thing is to create a line, any fox crossing that line will follow them, one every 4-5 meters, you can bring them to wherever you want, from wherever they are. No squeaking, just patience. Tramlines are ideal

I have been using dog biscuits for a while but find you have to use a catty to get them out there or they will cross your scent and be off

only trouble using dried food , it doesn’t last long when rained on

The best one Ive found is mixed wet cat food sprinkled up a bush to get the benefits of a breeze, that brings em in and holds em for a few seconds

These ones seem very water resistant.

A tin of cat food with a few holes in tied to a tele graph pole or similar so that it can swing
Or Tuna, small holes so the juices dribble out, I shot a lot of problem Foxes a few years back using this method
