Best habrocks

I am getting fed up of carrying a thermal and also binos. I am interested in the habrocks, but want the best set for image and also closer range stalking to 100yds. Don’t want a tiny FOV. Any advice please?

Keep the glass and spotter. Rumour has it HIK are about to release some new super duper multi spec binos, or variation of the habrok.

I’d hang fire
Cheers. I’ve been super happy with the axion xq38. Had it for 5 years and it’s been amazing, and still is! I’m just keen to reduce clutter I carry.

As soon as you can afford one of the new hq35l I think you mae be more than satisfied. The new version bear the 4k optical channel, 640 thermal, range finder with real and site corrected distances, two bulbs 850 and 940 instant (no tools) swappable, and still rely on the ready availables 18650 batteries n9t a proprietary one .

I have an eye issue which means binoculars are pretty much a waste of time to me. Is the display identical on both eyes in the habroks?

I've just got a set of HE25L, I only intend to use them at night with my NV, quite happy so far, for my use they are fine although I don't see them replacing my Leica's for day use

Habroks are a really good bit of kit. I use the 640 35mm model they have a good fov. The thermal channel is really good. The digital night is very average with the built in ir with an external ir its up there. Daytime image is spot on. For me using a monocular eye burn was awful. You suffer no eye burn with the habroks.

Not really but thanks for the input, I’m pretty much blind in one eye so need everything to be delayed in the left hand eye piece…..
I have use it one eye at the need (small hide with minimal windows and quarries in the extreme corner of sight) but I find it too gimnic. First you need using both hands, one holding the other for focusing, seconde while the screen is the same for all kind of imagins mind that the right tube is dedicated to thermal. the left is for optical & night vision. The main feature of habrok -to me- is the chance to find-id-judge & range: all without moving it from your's eyes. But this don't fits that your's need. Probably a monocular would be better and less cumbersome?
as per recording video and imagines you can judge yourself from my recent trip in highlands. Everything recorded from my pall with a Habrok 25 ln. Here you can see the short video too..

The best one is probably the most expensive one. They all have 4k nv, the difference is the quality of the thermal. Don’t bother with the base unit.
personally, for anyone on a budget, I would say take a look at the base model, don't just write them off, I have them and I am more than capable of finding Deer with the thermal then ID them with the optical, yes if you have had better thermal before you may be disappointed but as someone who never had thermal before, they are a wonderful tool, same on Foxes and Rabbits find with thermal, ID optically.
The FOV is poor though, that's my only gripe.

I have the HQ35L. I don't think they replace binos in the day. They are superb at first light and last light. Thermal is great. I did want to trade them in for the HX50L, but trade in prices were so bad so I haven't bothered to. Will wait until the upgrade is bigger.

I think the time when a digital screen will supercede a good glass is still far to come. So I agree 100/100 with You if you are referring at the pleasure of scanning with a traditional scope. & me too wouldn't part from my Leicas (although recently started wondering if sell a unused Noctivid and hold only my trusty UltraVid+) But if strictly speaking on a tool for hunting the HQ is far superior to me. I could evaluate the points numbers of a trophy at any hunting distance and go on stalking day and night)

I have HE25L 4K's, the thermal channel is a downgrade from my previous Pulsar XQ38 but still perfectly adequate for stalking. I had intended to retain my Vortex Fury bino's but find the digital channel perfectly good for my needs so sold them on and now only carry one bit of kit.
Admittedly is I was buying again I would probably go for the 35 4k's as the lower thermal resolution 25's struggle a bit to pick up the background in shitty weather.
Not going to claim the digital channel is as good as glass but i'm not stalking large expanses of hill ground.

Have you had hold of a pair of Habroks? they are huge! i had a good go with a pair and wasn’t impressed with the form factor, plus you need both hands to operate them, you have to focus both objective lenses separately, not too bad if you are having a quick flick with the thermal side, you can get away without having precise focus but if you are using the optical channel and need to have the best image for checking condition, heads etc you can’t do it one handed.
Hopefully the next generation will address this.
