Best high top waterproof walking boots

I've rated Hanwag very highly for years, however got a pair of Crispi boots issued by work recently and rate them equally as good. Time will tell how they last, but very impressed with them so far.

Better than Meindl for sure, but the Crispi laces burst on me pretty quickly (putting a metal bar at the bottom is a stupid idea!) , so replaced with Meindl laces :thumb:

I've just picked up a pair of new Iturri British army cold weather boots
New pairs seem to sell for around £70-80 and if they hold up they will be a bargain.
Gore-Tex, Thinsulate, full leather with a high rand

I have a pair of Gortex army surplus Haix High Availability boots they are excellent, they have not let me down in 2 years, they come in a variety of width fittings and half sizes. And they are inexpensive compared to other Brands.

Essentially the same as the karrimor sf boots. Comfortable and waterproof, excellent for the
Money

Cant believe no one’s recommended Brandecosse, have had a pair of the Cervo boots for 6 years now. Heavily used and abused they are still comfy and waterproof. Have had several pairs of Meindl Dovre fall apart in that time. Also the insoles in Meindl’s annoyingly fall apart within months.
