Best knife sharpener

I would say the Lansky Professional system is proven, works well and is quite intuitive to use.
There are a few things it isn't the 'best for - knives over 7", thick full flat grind knives. The rest - it works very well.
Buy the diamond stones and you don't need to use oil.

A long strop on a wooden board, engineering compound (Smurf poo) and practice. This is IMO the easiest, quickest, cheapest method.

Edge Pro Apex.

Transformational.

The Lansky is good, but it can be very hard to keep a consistent angle if you have a thick spine (3mm or above) and a full flat grind or similar. The clamps just can’t hold the knife stable.

Some bloke down the road from me. He doesn’t charge a lot and I don’t need to spend hours making a mess of my nice knives. Honestly, I spend more on beer in a week than I would spend on getting my knives sharpened in a year.
I know my limits… 😁

I have a Mora knife.
What’s the recommended tool for sharpening these scandi grinds?
Get a nice broad, flat stone (Arkansas, synthetic, diamond - whatever) and sharpen away. Easiest profile to sharpen as you have the entire flat to guide you (there is no secondary bevel).

I have had good sucess with Any Sharp, you need a flat surface to fix it with suction cup, but its really reasonably priced.
