Best knife sharpener

you read that some people with fancy custom knives can do hundreds of deer without having to sharpen it! Really? Does this include taking head/legs off, or just the gralloch? coz even with my good knife, with a good edge, if taking head/legs off, I only get about 5/6 reds done before it needs attention.
Am I doing something wrong?

It's seldom I have much positive to say about anything that comes out of the western island, but this EZESharp Blade Sharpener w/Flip Over Deluxe Bundle 4 OPTIONS - Aussie Outback Supplies is fantastic. One massive advantage is that you can use any stone up to 8x2", so no buying overly expensive stones that will only work on the jig.

I make knives as a sideline and use this a lot, can't recommend them enough.
