I cant see the need for one --i do wonder if anyone else is like myself and simply tucks them i to your coat avoiding strap on harnesses and all the clutter????

My binos were a serious investment, so just looking to protect them - most caddy’s/harnesses these days are pretty streamline.

Other benefits include, better weight distribution on the shoulders rather than the neck, rain protection, they don’t swing when taking a shot on sticks, stops binos get covered in dirt if crawling and a tiny amount of storage for essentials.

Personally don’t see the excitement with football, but others seem to enjoy it. Each to their own. 👍

I really can’t see how people wouldn’t want to protect there glass when it’s 2-3k for top binos I want them to last a long time so how anyone can argue against using them to keep crap and debris from marking glass when you’re crawling through undergrowth and also stops them from clanging into your rifle or sticks it’s a complete no brainier, buy a good one from either kuiu or marsupial and have good glass for years to come or bash them around and scratch them so they look like shite after a year or so …… if your a bit thick

I just have a length of 1 inch webbing sewn to some elastic with webbing connectors at either end for quick atach/detatch. So basically a stretchy belt.
the binoculars are on a normal neck strap.
The stretchy "belt" is around my lower chest and the binoculars can be tucked under the "belt" to stop them moving around when walking or bending down.
Simple, works for me.

As i wrote tommy lad i tuck mine in to my jacket all snug dry and safe. obviously if you are a "bit thick" some may be unable to read that correctly so i apologize for making the sentence overly complex

Neck strap does the job well for me. I get great satisfaction in using equipment easily, not worrying about it getting scratched.

I've taken one or two people stalking who've had bino harnesses - they're way to fiddly for me. Same goes for eyepiece covers.

4mm bungy cord threaded through the connection points on the binos, then linked at the back. You put it on the same way as a bino harness. Sits snug against chest, easy up and down. Can wear under jacket if you want.

That Pack would make a lovely little daysack the other way around on your back, its a nice size so as not to rub your rifle or sticks
Looks like it will take all your bits like knives, gloves, rope and gambrel, phone etc

I used a well made hydration rucksack, i purchased of here, quite thin not at all wide and fits on my back that you need check its still there, chopped the straps re done them with extension and a chest strap and it takes everything I want to take 😃

If a company made one in good quality gear id have one in a thrice 👍

Same for me. They are a tool like the rifle and a knife. I don't try to damage any of them but I am also happy to see them pick up character and war wounds. I use them too much to concern myself about some scratched housing. I protect the lenses and that is all that matters to me. The rest is just cosmetic and I am not precious about that. I have upgraded wood on rifles with dings and dents in. I prefer it that way. I sometimes use my binos as a rifle rest

I must be a bit thick then, or perhaps not a clumsy bafoon, mine have been in daily use since about 2015 and are virtually unmarked, never have their lens caps on always just round my neck.

Singing from the same hymn sheet.

when someone else was paying for them, I slung them inside my smock
now its my own dollar, they go inside a comfy Marsupial chest pack,
which also has pouches for a rangefinder and Spartan bipod

Me neither, mega faff in my opinion for the stalking I do, rather have them out and ready to go. But I can see the appeal for some applications and other users.
