Binocular harnesses.

I bought one thinking it was the bee’s knees until an unfortunate photograph was taken of me wearing it in the Tirol in a polo shirt.

It lifts and separates like the famous bra and I had one udder going out each side. It was not a good look. I removed it as soon as we got home.

For serious , stalking use, it was ok but I prefer the original sling as I can take them off more easily and use the binos as a bipod or rest if prone. Have shot a few deer like that. I like being able to tuck them in my smock if crawling which I couldn’t with the bingo-bra as my GF called it. although some gucci versions have a cover as well.

I wouldn’t bother but that’s just one opinion.

The Bushnell one is OK. It’s adjustable so will fit over thick clothing even if you are a big lad. About £25 from memory.

Yes. I too have a broad back and shoulders. I got a Matin one off eBay. Cheap and comfy. Choose elastic, not the nylon webbing.

Agreed Spannulman, more Les Dawson than Eva whatshername from the original traffic stopping Wonderbra advert though!

I use the S4 Gear on my 8.5x42 EL and it seems pretty good. I am on the slight side and had to tug a fair bit of the elastic rear straps through the adjusters.

I just got a Vortex one for my birthday. I didn't realise how much like a bra it looked until I tried it on.

But it is so much more comfortable than having them hanging round my neck for a few hours.

Love your honesty!

Truth is whatever you pay for one; and I've spent silly money when you factor Import Duty, they are all bloody uncomfortable and doubly so in the Summer as its like strapping a hot water bottle to your chest.

Use a KUIU. Good stuff. Option to use the Box or change to a full strap rig which is handy occasionally. Would not be without one now, particularly up the hill, don't want them bouncing off rocks or dragging through the heather. More comfortable than just a sling.

What's best for you will depend on the size of yer Binos (ie what fits), your environment(dry, WET or snow) and your style (walk only or down in the dirt).
