Birthday Grandson

Its my Birthday today. And for the past 3 years I have taken my grandson stalking on this day.
Today was a 3.30am start and a 90 minute drive. My good friend Mark accompanied us. Along with Toby, my BMH.
Plan was to look for a Roe buck but apart from a doe, nothing else showed. So I decided to switch to another area nearby, to look for my grandsons first Fallow buck. Plan worked well, and within 15 minutes of being on the ground he had his first Fallow buck,, a pricket, but still a buck.

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes.

Finished the day off with a BBQ of Muntjac burgers, made by my friend, plus some back strap cuts off the Fallow in BBQ sauce, followed by beer, and a few whiskies in the garden bar.
