Black Sun Dark Engine BLADE COVERT IR illuminator

Yes, a slight red glow. Tiny led at the back to tell you they are on. Have flood to zoom and power control. They are one of the best IR illuminators you can get for digital NV.

Thanks Drew3 I use a blacksun dark engine on a pard 007 on a hawk frontier scope, tikka t3 i shoot well over 100 every year out to 300yds hoping to see further with the blade

Check it out first mate i was out last night with 22 rimmy and the 204, using the blade on 2 hawke scopes on the rimmy its perfection and on the 204 i wouldn't shoot beyond 250 mtrs I doubt without very clear weather conditions you would get the clarity to shoot 300 mtrs + out of the 007 300 mtrs you might need a dedicated NV scope

Thats only what I have experienced with mine, I shot 3 foxes early this morning in pitch black clear conditions between 160 and 230 mtrs and it all worked really well and clear to be honest my thoughts are 250 thats max with 007
Hopefully someone on here can advise if a longer distance is achievable
I’ve tried the ward 800s, and also the vulpine V3 all about the same, IR

Good luck
Phil
