Blaser mount adjustment

I wonder if anyone has any good tips as to how the original blaser mounts can be tightened/ released without the used of the blaser dedicated screw driver. I have "tried" a number of flat head screwdrivers but none seem to fit the tight slot ... looking forward to any suggestions out there. Thank you in advance

in my experience anything else ruins the screw head.

maybe a woodwork chisel?

Haven't attempted to move it as nothing I have or borrowed actually fits....

I angle grinded a regular flat head bit to reduce the thickness on the tip to use it on torque screw driver and it works fine.

Ok, so guess the answer is it needs it's dedicated screwdriver....anyone has one they can part with?

Use a large wide flat bladed screwdriver ground down to fit the slot, or buy the genuine rip off screwdriver

Make your own from a decent bit of steel, needs to fit very snug,

Take a file to a largeish flat head and as you get close keep testing it so that you get it snug.

... or buy the saddle mount with the Sauer logo on it, designed for the Sauer 505. It's the same mount as the Blaser one - except for one detail. It can be adjusted with a standard hex key!
