Tikka T3 mount = 695?

Do Tikka T3 scope mounts fit on a Tikka 695 in 30.06? Am thinking about the dedicated Aimpoint mount. Thanks in advance.

Optilock mounts are the same for T3 and M595/695. Not familiar with the aimpoint mount but if it fits in the integral dovetail then it should be the same.

Optilocs definitely do, so should others. 595-695-T3's all have parallel dovetails.

The ejection port on T3x is bit larger than original T3. Allegedly to deal with ejection problems with certain mounts (before T3x, Spuhr used to recommend milling the port in similar with at least some of their mounts).

IIRC the ejection port in M695 is significantly larger than T3 family (top rail is not 100% continuous). And there's only one recoil slot in the rail, so you can not play with mount position.

So while the mount might fit, there could be problems with ejection.
