Thes are the sort of boxes commonly found in scuba diving shops. They are used as kit boxes when diving off boats and they are bloody sturdy bits of kit.

There is a company called stax in Worsley Manchester that do potting trays at about £3 each they are 3' x 2' and 6" high and they make great row trays they stack on oneanother and they are cheap
