We have two colonies of Buff-tailed bumblebees in bird boxes again this year.

They love old blue tit nests, pretty harmless.
If you are getting alotmof moss the soil ph is off try liming it this autumn
What type of weed & feed do you useWeed and feed in spring then I grub out the few remaining. Remember 1 years seeding 7 years weeding.!

The little brown jobs dont want the wheat so chuck it out, change to single variety seed in each feeder.
The product will cost more but you wont be feeding rats.
Sunflower hearts, millet, peanuts, cut maize.
Start with small bags see what they like.
Also if poss position the feeders in the open not over a shrub.
