Bloody dandelions

Not as many flowering dandelions this year as last unfortunately. Our honey bees do very well on all the dandelions, and, as said, they are great for other bees and insects such as oil beetles. Our lawn and fields are covered in seed heads now and plenty of finches about. It'll not be long before the thistle s and knapweed are out.

Change what she is feeding, almost all the rat jobs i get because of feeders are seed mixes
The little brown jobs dont want the wheat so chuck it out, change to single variety seed in each feeder.
The product will cost more but you wont be feeding rats.
Sunflower hearts, millet, peanuts, cut maize.
Start with small bags see what they like.
Also if poss position the feeders in the open not over a shrub.

Sunflower hearts and peanuts are already on the menu.
Nigers for the Finches.

A no wheat seed mix for the rest.
We get a good selection of birds.

We live rural so rats wil always be part of the ecosystem.
Besides, it keeps me on the ball.

Here is the solution to your problem. It's essentially wild rocket with a massive umami punch, it's weird, you start eating it and you just crave more until you run out. It must contain a natural form of MSG or something.

Ate lots of dandelion and crows foot greens growing up. We were poor ate lots of squirrels, rabbits, about any thing that would fall to a worn Winchester 22 lr pump gun. Nothing like being out in the squirrel woods with a couple of little terriers on a cool October morning.
