Bloody good day out on the grey hordes

Get yourself over here we’ve got pigeons to sort, that was the message from the very kind SD member, not being one to turn down such an invitation off I trot at midday to a very sunny Essex with a slight breeze to cool things down nicely

over wind laid barley the grey hordes were there in numbers but scattered, with the super twirly and deecs in place the banter oops shooting started nice and steady, after a while it was explained to me that’s is pretty obvious my top barrel was faulty so I changed to using the bottom barrel first (improved) low and behold and they started falling out of the sky, end of play 32 gathered between us and we had a cracking day and a right old laugh, best day out on pigeons for a while for me.

hahaha FB i got the first pigeon with the first shot, it went drastically downhill after that, I think the continual safety catch noise made em wary we had a great day and a great laugh

it’s not made up, honestly it’s on a serious stalking / shooting club for available shooting to members

I suppose if you haven’t got it then some are willing to pay for it, but what they are asking for is ridiculous and I really hope no one takes them up on their offer
I was talking to a mate of mine not that long ago about the amount of muntjac he has on his land and how people would pay, he just laughed and said they are just vermin and are treated as such, it wouldn’t be like that if we had them up here, I suppose its like the pigeons, you always want what you haven’t got
