I have no real interest in fishing and particularly not flogging a pool for Salmon, however I had a friend staying who is mad for Salmon. I took him to the Blackwater near Fermoy...What a great day! Both my guests hooked a fish and one landed one (5lb grilse) - made their month. I sat with my dog and enjoyed the swifts and the day, loved that they were so excited, just not my game. As my guest left my drive on Sunday he saw these three boys....thats more like it....!.
