And if they fit a wide forefoot with narrow heel and a high instep/metatarsal, they'll be the holy grailLundhags professional
You may be in luck, you may jest but that’s pretty much exactly how they are, certainly cater for wide, they are very roomy in the toe by design to allow for circulation and to avoid cold toes and they even do a wider sizing too. Instep metatarsal would be a simple addition of a footbed of your choosingAnd if they fit a wide forefoot with narrow heel and a high instep/metatarsal, they'll be the holy grail![]()
Doesn't look too easy to ger hold of in the UK, but I'll persist. You may be in luck, you may jest but that’s pretty much exactly how they are, certainly cater for wide, they are very roomy in the toe by design to allow for circulation and to avoid cold toes and they even do a wider sizing too. I ordered mine from outnorth, granted it would be a pain if you fall between sizes etc but I have been very happy and mine still look like new after 3 years of useDoesn't look too easy to ger hold of in the UK, but I'll persist.
I've odd feet, one slightly bigger than the other, high instep, narrow heel, wide forefoot. In this day and age of reduced stockists locally, one has to sometimes take a chance, but backed up by good returns/exchange policy.I ordered mine from outnorth, granted it would be a pain if you fall between sizes etc but I have been very happy and mine still look like new after 3 years of use
Snap, 20% off at Bushwear. I’ve got tendonitis which the osteopath reckons is exacerbated by my wellies (Chameau Chasseur) the Bushwear sale was the perfect excuse to get the Boa version.
It's the "normal wear & tear" bit that I find odd. Do if it fails just during you using it normally, day to day, then no warranty?? Wtf??And I’m a bit confused by the “get out” clause in the warranty….heat damage caused by animals??? And Saline…so salty water??

They are not boa’s they are drawstring type laces.I don’t think salt water is very good on any boots tbf even wading boots die fairly quickly. Do you have the boa ones?
Thats a shame. Hope they stretch out a bit. I've got quite wide feet so this has put me off crispi.
I’ll let you know how it progresses Dave, I’m hopeful they break in and are one of those sets of boots that are super comfy but I am sore on the insole after about a mile of walking at the minute….Thats a shame. Hope they stretch out a bit. I've got quite wide feet so this has put me off crispi.
Well…that’s a massive disappointment! The Crispi’s are on their way back to Bushwear, not impressed at all, they are apparently a U.K. 9 but no where near fit me (all my other footwear are a 9!) and because they are work the only thing I can get is a credit note - a bit disappointing as it’s not really possible to tell if shoes/boots are going to cripple you until you wear them.
I also don’t really like the look of any of the boots bushwear stock so I’m now stuck with funds for somewhere I don’t really need to buy anything from.
A whole 17 days of ownership…
My review -
The lace system is not user friendly at all.
The gaiter system is silly as it will try moisture and first between the boot and gaiter and won’t be easy to clean.
The fit is far narrower than a normal boot.
Great looking, and supportive around the ankle but just not for me!
Lesson learned!
