Boots…

You won’t beat these. Red Wing Irish Setters Mine are 6 years old and abused. My shooting buds are 12 years old. He’s had his re soled. His were originals made from Kangaroo skin mine are cow hide. Both still perfectly water proof still. Certainly not fashion boots but many keepers swear by them.
Thinsulate lined. Fitted perfectly from new very comfortable.

I also have a pair of setters at 8 years old and they are warm, comfy and waterproof and if I was on a peg all day Id want nothing else. But when beating etc over rough terrain, stepping over brash and marching over ploughed fields I find they do feel heavy, which us why I'm also looking for something else

And so it begins again! First impressions are good. Fit seems much more confortable and the boa system is excellent and easy to get on, tighten etc…time will tell!

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but I like the look of these, what model are they? Looking for some high BOA (/similar) boots but can’t find all that many out there.

They are Meindle Sonnalp Ben, 10 month in and they are fantastic - wore them on a wet dreich hill today and my feet stayed warm, dry and comfortable. Highly recommended. 👍🏻

I've always got on with Meindl boots for fit, Elbus pro with the rubberised toe were the best but unfortunately they stopped making them, these look ideal with the BOA system but I can't find them available where you suggested.

Yes I can’t find them either. Shame as they looked perfect! Only ones I can find are £300+ in Germany.

I’ve bought a pair of Chiruca Dogos, so fingers crossed they fit my foot!
