The Meindl Sonnalp are the very ones I am looking at! Can’t seem to find any reviews though as they are pretty new out.
Meindl had an issue for a few months but apparently now all sorted.

I'm still waiting for you to!@Dave31 did you try the Beretta ones?
I've had the BOA Crispi sine just after Christmas. I tried them at the Gamefair back in the summer and decided an 8 was a better fit than the 7 (my shoe size) I wear them every day and I have to say they have been brilliant from day one, equally as comfortable as my Meindl Douvre Extremes. I believe Fortis are bringing out a BOA boot too.Think it's been said on here to upsize them compared to your normal sizing a few times.
Had mine, but with the BOA system for 2.5 years and can't really fault them.BOA system superb, straight out of the box comfort and if i would change anything it would be to make the gaiters a couple of inches longer.
Obviously would need a few years more out of them yet but been a superb boot so far.
Unless they are an inch too narrow for your feet!Crispi, can’t fault them
Laces I agree with, haven’t had the issue with the gaitersUnless they are an inch too narrow for your feet!
Do you find the laces a faff and that wetness and gunge gets caught between the boot and the gaiter?
Been thinking about these lately, third pair in how long?Dedito - cant fault them on my 3rd pair
I'm on my 2nd pair of Altberg Warriors. I like a military style boot and use them for everything from dog walks, hiking and longer hill walks to hunting and range days. First pair lasted me 8 years and would've lasted longer if I'd taken better care of them in their final year when I changed to be a shift worker and got loads of days off for more walking. In the end the leather cracked because I wasn't treating them anywhere near as often as I should have. But they were so comfortable I went right back to the factory for another pair of the exact same boots. I like that they're a local business ad made in England too, I live in the North East and they're just a short drive away in Richmond.Think I am going to look at altberg, dedito or go back to lowa again
I am a heavy boot user, my previous pair did 2.5 years before the waterproofing gave in. I would was they aren't a wide fit but certainly aren't narrow.Been thinking about these lately, third pair in how long?
Would you say they are a wide fit or not?
Cheers
I like the look of these. Who did you purchase through? And so it begins again! First impressions are good. Fit seems much more confortable and the boa system is excellent and easy to get on, tighten etc…time will tell!

Snowleader online, seemed ok service wise….I like the look of these. Who did you purchase through?
None. I have used boa systems on my work boots for years, and they aren’t looked after well at all…All you boa users.........how much TLC does the system require?
How stiff are they? I finally got out this evening in the boarders. The Meindls held up in some fairly swampy conditions so seems like I might be waiting a while before I can justify some new boots. And so it begins again! First impressions are good. They’re pretty stiff as they are new but I suspect the will supple up a fair bit.How stiff are they? I finally got out this evening in the boarders. The Meindls held up in some fairly swampy conditions so seems like I might be waiting a while before I can justify some new boots.
