Anyone ever come across the Brandecosse Brontolare 9" boot? I am looking to these as an alternative to my Meindl Dovre.

They are all over instagram which makes me not trust them but it would be great to get proper user feedback cause they certainly look good .
 
I had a look at them at the stalking show, very nice boots, to my mind not worth the considerable premium over altberg.
After all they just put a mark up on the offerings from Diemme.
 
I’ve had their tall welly boots for years, quality product that lasts well, takes a fair amount to break them in though. I did order some of the ones the op mentions on the basis of having enjoyed the welly equivalent however I sent them straight back, too stiff and felt orthotic and clunky. I know they’re very popular with grouse keepers, they are quality leather and well made boots, plus their customer service is excellent.

My shooting mate has had a pair for 2 seasons now and swears by them, good support and fully waterproof and with minor amount of maintenance they look very good, he got them as he has had ankle issue and wanted good support. I am Meindl fan have 3 pairs but I looked at the Brandecosse at the shooting show today and 3 separate guys came up to the stand singing their praises while I was looking at them

I’ve had a pair for about eight years now and hands down the best boots I’ve had.
Bomb proof, comfortable, nice people to deal with. If you bought a pair you won’t regret it.
 
I’ve had a good look at them. Nice Italian made boots.

But the La Sportiva Karakorum are also a nice Italian made boot at quite substantially less.
 
I have a pair of the Brandecosse Fagiano. I rate these boots highly, better than my recent Meindls.
Excellent customer service.
 
I’ve had a pair of Tasso for 10 months and they have been great boots. Recently I noticed a split in the midsole on one boot so posted them back after a quick phone call. I got an email as soon as they received them saying they were sending me a brand new set and a pot of of wax as good will. I have to agree about the customer service being very good on the phone.

Nice people I know them never bought the boots for myself because my feet are buggered and I have to get orthopaedic boots at great expense
 
I've had a pair of Brandecosse Cervo Rosso for a good few years now great boot and really comfy right from day 1
 
Had a pair of their Capriolo’s for a few years now. Amazingly comfortable.

Met them at the game fair last year and they seemed like really good people as well.
 
I have had the 11" Brontolare for around 5 years now. Really can't fault them. The only Meindl I have used were Bhutans and the Brandecosse have outperformed and outlasted.

Brilliant customer service too
