Browning X-Bolt .223 trigger

The triggers on the couple of newer X bolts that I have fired were fitted with feather weight triggers. They seemed good to me, I certainly wasn't aware of them being at all heavy. There again these rifles were rifles used by the Browning reps so possibly not representative of all.

gunbloke from austraila he posts to the uk. I got 2 springs from him. Took about a month. Beware you can destroy the original springs when you take them out. Might be an idea to get a few friends together and buy a few to split the postage.

I have done 3 over the years, a bit of a pain but the owners are all happy with the job done,

Best we got was down to just a to under a 2 pound pull. Makes a big difference and better groups.

Bob.

I am looking to get my rifle down to 2 pound. At the moment it is so heavy and I feel it is having a negative impact on the groups I am shooting.

Thanks for the replies. I’ve emailed my local gunsmith to see if they will take a look at the trigger.

I've got mine down to 3lb but it still way to heavy for me & I'm not happy yet.
I'm glad you've given this a good review as mine is in the post, shouldn't be long before its here.

Very easy. But I managed to straighten the oem ones taking them out. Utube has a few videos about doing the job.

My Gunbloke spring turned up yesterday.
The browning one is short with not much give, where as the gunbloke one is about a 3rd longer with a thinner gauge wire(more give).
Easy to fit. just push the trigger pin out & swap over the spring.
Feels loads better already without even shooting it.
