"Bryan May Had Deer Killed"

139 acres, I'd hardly call that an estate! We have 2 x 100 acre fields on our farm, some further in land are even bigger than that! Silly tw*t May!

Typical of the total hypocrisy, ignorance and double standards surrounding countrysports, wildlife management and even the processes that put meat on people’s tables.

Made worse by the fact that during the legal badger cull, he condoned the online publishing of the names of the farms and farmers involved, knowing full well and hiding the fact that he was managing wildlife on his own estate.

Hear Hear!!! Well said..:)

I actually thought it made him sound open to ideas and thoughts on management that he previously did not have.
shame he has such fixed opinions on other matters he does not understand

Mama just killed a deer
Put a rifle against it head, pulled the trigger now its dead,
Mama, oooh, Didn't mean to make you cry,
If im not back again this time tomorrow,
Carry on, carry on as if nothing really matters....

Absolutely brilliant, " Brian Double standard May"

this is just another example of why you should have to apply for a visa to move into the countryside.another nimby has some land and pushing his views onto people who have lived worked in the countryside all thier lives.i so glad this has come out id love to see all the animal rights climbing all over his estate now threatening to burn his house down.i know some of the people in the original cull area in somerset and the lady was terrified that because of things outside her control that her livestock were going to be put in harms way because of the threats from animal rights.he has now been shown as a complete **** that we all knew he was.wait till the foxes dig holes in his lawn he will have the hunt out quick as a flash lol stu

It just sounds like a typical scenario to me.... Rich businessman buys a property with land for his daughters horses, wife quite likes the idea of having deer on the land because it's something of a status symbol. Deer become a problem and have to be controlled. Why do people think they can move to the country from the inner cities and change the ways of the countryside?

I spoke to the owner of the land I shoot on in Sussex about getting the stalking on the adjoining land... he said "you've no chance, she likes the deer and won't allow anyone to shoot them"
Next time we went there were 2 brand new high seats up

I have always thought it pathetic that a grown man could adopt a walt disney view of badgers, and wildlife in general.
I now feel nothing but contempt for him.
Talk about double standards.
sinbad

These people are all the same it's all acceptable when it suits. I'm sure if Badgers were undermining one of his buildings or one of his horses broke its leg in a hole it would be a different story. I'm sure he can make his peace with the animal rights people with a big cheque I would imagine.

cant wait for next time hes on question time or somthing im sure he"ll get a haggle
just need to dig somthing up on bloody next
