Burger press recommendations.

Any recommendations for a good quality burger press for home use, maybe making 30-40 burgers a month.

I currently have a cheap plastic one that doesn't have much life left in it.

Why use a press at all? Better to use a sheet of plastic wrap to roll up the ground meat into a cylinder (parallel to the grain), slice off a disc of whatever thickness you want, and then do the final concave shaping by hand .

Quick, consistent, minimal mess, no waste, and the end-grain alignment gives superior texture compared to randomly squishing things together in a press.

Spikomat press really good comes in 5inch and 6 inch to so helps. Just get the papers to so it doesn’t stick to surfaces 👍🏼
