I use a Panasonic lumix fz72, it's a brige camera and has a x60 zoom and it takes fantastic pictures and I use it to record videos.

Used they are around £120-£150 and are very highly rated
Thanks for that.
Just seen one of those advertised 2nd hand. Will make some enquiries.

What's the battery charging arrangement on this camera (eg, do you remove batteries for charging, or do you plug charger cable straight into camera?).
Also, how easy have you found it for transferring photos from camera to phone in order to post pics on social media (eg, do you have to download pics to another device first, such as a laptop, and then transfer to phone, or can pics be downloaded directly from camera to phone?).

Battery is removed and charged, you can buy unbranded spare batteries if needed.

I believe it has wifi so you should be able to download to your phone/tablet.

I just use the provided cable and hook it up to my laptop and download onto that as I keep all my stuff on there, if I want to upload to social media etc I simply send the image to my Google drive, then go to my phone and open Google drive and it's there ready to post where ever you want

Thank you! Much appreciated.

I have a brand new and unused Minox spotting scope with an eyepiece plus the digital add on unit to take pictures or videos so multi purpose unit. All never been used.

Looking at the specs on the bridge cameras some only have limited sensors and that's were the quality comes from.I just bought a Sony RX IT has a one in sensor. There are plenty photographers on here and i am sure there advice will be welcomed.

Hi,
Just to chip in with my two pennys'worth..........
I have a Nikon D300, 2 x tele lenses, motordrive, flash, manuals, dvd/books on how to use etc, all in a professional rucksack. In
9/10 condition, I hardly used it.
Looking for around £300 for the lot, if you're interested I will make a list (long) of all bits and pieces + Pics, and send it on.
Regards

Hi, thanks for that.
Can you please PM me with more info about it?

I have upgraded some kit as I am shooting more video than stills. I have a 77d that I dont use any more, original battery and 2 third party batteries, I can add a 128gb sd card and even find a tripod if you need one. For the front of that I have a 75-300mm canon lens, which on a crop sensor would give you 120-480mm, also have an 18-55 lens if you were interested.

Personally I would stay away from bridge cameras as the sensors are too small to get the best out of low light situations. Feel free to DM me if you have any questions, I am out on photography/video jobs a few times a week and happy to give you any info even if you are not interested in the kit I have. It is a bit of a mine field and can be quite costly if you choose badly, it also depends on how far you want to go with it as a hobby!!

Tony
