Have you measured up the primer pocket uniformer? Maybe it's an oversize uniformer?

Yes, checked that and it appears not. The issue is that like most other pocket uniformers it cuts square to the edge, removing the small (but important) fillet in the base of the pocket so I won't be using it again.

I have both large and small K&M rifle primer pocket uniformers , you're more than welcome to borrow . If it would help , dm me ?

I hadn't considered that but yes, that is what seems to be happening (primers themselves not sealing properly). It isn't a headspace issue though, as I mentioned, that was checked and I set back shoulders as close to fireformed as I can, usually within1 thou. It's definitely a primer pocket issue. Thanks for the offer but from now on I'll be sticking with a steel brush or normal pocket cleaner.
