I think Wytonpjs rifle has just had a particularly poor cerakote application, I took a look at another brand new Wideland Veil today and cosmetically its closer to mine, in that the cerakote does extend into the raceway, although not as thick as the external surfaces, which is fine by me. It looks as though the spray gun operator missed more than he should have done with Wytonpjs rifle.
We're not seeing wear here, just a half arsed job. More care seems to be taken with the S20, the raceway is evenly coated and my s20 shows no wear in this area, perhaps it will do after 1000 rounds or whatever, but that's totally fine and to be expected.
