Changing UPS delivery

Does anyone know how to change the delivery address on something being sent to you via UPS?

The seller put the wrong address on the package (there are 8-9 streets in our area with nearly identical names). Though it is the right post code, so I don’t see why they can’t work it out.

They’ve tried to deliver it twice, and the person who lives there has fortunately refused it. But I can’t find a way to get the delivery address changed via the UPS online system.

Given that this happens all the time in our area, and all the other delivery firms have the wit to actually use the post code for the purpose for which it was intended, I’m seriously unimpressed with UPS.

UPS are the worse! When this happened to me I managed to create an account. Put in the info details from the missed delivery and try to change address. Still they pretended to deliver. I have a ring doorbell. They did not!
In the end I called the customer centre ( 03457 877877) and told them to leave it in the depot and I had to do the 1hr drive to go collect it. Hardly a delivery service more a collection hub but I’m still happy I managed to get it on the next day and in good condition.

Is that a UK wide number? Or just your local one?

Tried. Spent two hours fighting with it. There seems to be no way to do it via the app. But I may be missing something.
I changed a delivery last weekend to a delivery point. The only downside of that was being told it had arrived at the delivery point. It actually arrived at the delivery point 12 hours later.

How?

It says I need a code, but I don’t see I how I get that code (and it’s not the tracking number)

They're a nightmare. Call centre in Phillipines (?), will not give any contact details for local depots, which for me is a 70 mile drive. However, if you book online and drop off to a collection point, a reasonably economic way to send outsize items that Parcelfarce charge outrageous sums to handle.
