Close range IR torch

Looking for recommendations for a compact and lightweight torch ,940nm, for use up to 20 or 30m max.

Ideally with high/low, spot to flood and power on indicator.

A quick search online shows plenty that will blast out into the next county but that's not what I need.

All ideas welcome.

I've got one and replaced the lens with a wider angle to give a nice flood

Exactly that. I've two VSCEL and they're very narrow beams with great reach, which is why I bought the LED convoy to mount for short range floody illumination of the whole garden/paddock

Night Fox are v good. I have a small IR torch I use for ratting. Make unknown came from Optics Warehouse it eas v cheap.
Alternatively look at sales option on Night Vision store.

Night Fox 940 I/R torch XB 5 as above sometimes on eBay going cheap, I use one for Ratting on Air and 22LR as a dimmer switch on rear and led to show it's on.

They're AliExpress, but a reputable brand that specialise in custom torch builds.

Tip buy one with a single power mode and just open the flood for less intensity, much much easier than the keep pressing to cycle modes, as you never truely know which setting its on, as its easy to change by accident.
