Commercial fridge fan

Hi,

I have bought a commercial fridge from a shop that housed your usual cans of coke etc.

Do these need a fan to circulate air or are these fridges good enough to house a roe for 1 week in skin at 4 degrees C

It needs a fan it makes for more even temperature. Has it not got a fan.

Hi, I bought some usb charging ones that did the job meat was fine when I butchered it yesterday. Could you recommend a setup to go in one of these fridges ?

Used one for years with no fan, just open the door once a day to let air circulate, never had any problems

The worse thing you can do is open the door if the fridge is running correctly the humidity should be 35 to 45%.
You open the door and let in 65% humidity.
But you carry on, it's a bit like putting vents in a fridge.
DONT DO IT.

could you recommend a setup to put a fan in permanently

The way I would recommend doing it would be to use a square 240 volt computer style fan mounted on some lightweight brackets wire out the internal light door switch and connect the 2 wires that go to the internal light bulb holder to the fan. But make sure if you are not confident to get an electrician to check it.
