Condor thoughts?

I asked battery life from the Hik person, a direct question.
She said it should be 3hrs in real world and all claims are under factory conditions (ie,4.5 hrs is at room temp with all the optimum settings) for an end user it’s more like 3hrs

I tested in room conditions ignoring any battery indications, with WIFI off and LRF off, approx 2hr 40 minutes - 2hr 50 minutes per cell. x3 supplied.

Elite optics have said parts are in and units will be sorted and shipped back to (happy) customers next week !

Yes, 3 hrs not much. Get 15-16 hrs with my Atn Binox. Lrf and wifi and all. Never really worry about losing 'cream'. Charge once a week or so.

Agree with the battery life at 3 hrs being a bit naff, its not a massiive problem swapping them out once in an evening like I do with my Panther scop although I woild prefer them in the unit from the start. The two batteries in the Habroks are a better idea I feel.
For the smaller units , I reckon the 22650 batteries out now woukd have been a good design improvement. Only 22 mm wide as opposed to 18 mm wide, the size could be absorbed in a unit and I would hazard a guess they would last towards 5 hrs instead of 3.

Now I actually like the 18650 idea because a lot of my other stuff runs the same batteries, makes it easier and one less thing to forget 🤣🤣🤣

I went out with mine last night, using Nightcore batteries not the Hik supplied ones, and it lasted over three hours with just the one. Hik batteries were lasting 1.5/2 hrs ish.
Were these the 3200mAh or the 3600mAh that you used? I noticed that the 3600mAh batteries are slightly longer.

Bought mine in Black Friday deal from Scott Country. It can’t cope with LRF being used. Battery just drains to single bar and says not able to use function. Sending back this week. Software issue?

The length and capacity of 18650 batteries are not related.
Length differences are down to whether or not the battery is protected
Protected batteries contain a small circuit board that increases the overall length of the battery

What a fookoop. I really fancied a condor and then comes the Habrok. Will the Habrok be the same mess?

I really hope not, as i've given up on Condor and ordered a Habrok... Habrok states 6 hours battery life, i'll be happy with 4.

I was just looking at upgrading an older Pulsar and really fancied the Condor. Not a hope now after 5 pages of problems!! Now I have no idea what to get???

I'll prob just get the Falcon to be honest - I don't need the LRF bit and as far as I can tell the specs on the Condor CQ35 and Falcon FQ35 are the same but no LRF on the Falcon?

Yes I believe that’s correct
Having looked through the gryphon and the falcon side by side, it’s not as good
