Fancy admitting on an open forum to reading the Telegraph. Have you no sense of shame? ;)
It's an insufferable rag which can't report the news properly. Thank goodness it's behind a paywall.

Exactly what the telegraph said

Each Home Secretary likes to leave a legacy and unfortunately we are easy prey to persecute, as they haven’t got a clue how to reduce knife crime or other violent crime mainly associated with illegal activity like drugs.

So we just have to put up with it.

Damn autocorrect!
Well at least you hadn't written a thread about Charlton Heston who was a supporter of the NRA pf America (and civil rights in the 1960s) and who once called me up on the telephone (he was in the UK for the Hay Festival) and had an interesting chat about gun control. He seemed a nice man.

But in the world of the early days of autocorrect, alas, was always Charlatan Festoon. True! And Mary J Blige who I saw in concert in Paris at the Bercy Arena was an unfortunate Mary J Bilge.
