Copper fouling removal

This:

I use this if the copper fouling becomes excessive. It's particularly useful for button rifled barrels, which can have a tendency to build up copper when new.

Wipeout Tactical Advantage works well to clear both carbon and copper at the same time. Use it all the time.

Be careful as it will remove all the copper most bores need a wash of copper to maintain accuracy esp small calibres.

Carbon ring is more of problem with small calibres apparently...ask me how I know😆😆
Took some shifting🥵🥵

Anyone tried oven cleaner? An F-classer I know uses it.......it is designed to remove baked on carbon, after all....

Boretech, I have the eliminator (always used first)carbon and copper cleaner, bore polish and use their jags and rods.

It works well for me

Yep, KG2 makes short work of copper - in fact, it makes short work of any barrel fouling. Boretech works OK but even when used with a bronze brush doesn't seem to have much effect on hard copper streaking. As as aside, I find Balistrol when used with a bronze brush gets more carbon fouling out than Boretech Eliminator or their Carbon Remover.
