Corvid control

Since the farmers drilled most of the fields I got to my spot just before 1st light armed with hot coffee and a ham sandwich in brown bread to stay regular!
Ive been on these for 3 days..I broke my previous record on a single day shooting of Crows/Jackdaws ended up with 70 but a full day with my trusty Raw .25 Fac.
Decoys were set around 20-30 yds next to my favourite ambush points with 4x4 netted over and tucked in conveniently in the tall hedges both sides on farm track.
Here’s a few pictures of set up and a short video of 3 Red kites happily tucking/recycling the downed quarry..we don’t waste much on this farm..as the farmers very much on board with me leaving some for efficient recycling for our wildlife.
At one time I had 3 resident Red kites eating away and 3-4 Crows landed nearby which were neatly despatched..kites weren’t put off with the shots.
The first day the crows we’re coming in fairly fast with days final tally of despatched crows neatly tucked away in the hedge..with a handful left in the field.the next day most were gone and that’s gota be Charlie’s hmm will attend to them laters.
So the second day wasn’t very productive ..as only got 20 and that was in a different spot.
Today was also fairly slow..infact none came down into my decoys.. until farmer turned up to attend to the cattle usually around 8.45 a.m whilst we were chatting 2 landed and these we’re duly despached, made me feel a lot better and happy farmer..with around 26 odd but all were crows total for 3 days 116..I’m not complaining.
Now before someone says lead poisoning..I’m very confident and all were chest shot with around 46 ft energy… the pellets at this power level definitely go straight through..I know I’ve already tested this plenty of times and my conscious is clear.
