Greatful for member views on how much a service, inc full strip down of parts and re-grease/ oil, plus 1 new firing pin on a Spanish 7 pin, h&h style action, sxs Would come to? does not involve replacing ejectors Or any other works.

what’s a reasonable bill for such a service?

thanks.

The service itself should cost between £90 and £125
Replacing firing pin depends on if its disc set or not and availability and can cost £90 - £190 according to my gunsmiths

My gunsmith made and replaced a disc set striker on my AYA #2 for £30 just recently.
I’ve regularly seen firing pins replaced for Brownings for £20. They’re notorious for breaking or cratering. A Baikal firing pin with the button turned down on a grinding wheel and the length of pin trimmed possibly.

Mine was replaced 4 decades ago when it belonged to my father, he had fired on an empty chamber, pin got stuck and was sheared off by the ejector. It was replaced but was never quite right until eventually it got stuck again.
My local gunsmith turned a new one and hardened it, works just as it should now.

Thanks for the responses so far. Anyone else care to provide examples of bills incurred for this service. Thanks
