Covid jab.

Just take it easy Jim. As it stands your system is probably at an all time low at the moment. Definitely different set up for parts of the country. Not had a squeak about mine yet. Do let us know if you feel better in the next couple of days...J

Got my Covid jab yesterday ,today I feel like death warmed up.
Pounding headache, sore throat, glands in my neck all swollen, sore neck and teeth, every muscle and joint sore, cold can't get warm
three layers and the heating turned up full still trembling, sick.
Feeling like sh@t going to take myself off to bed to much of an effort to even reply to a private message I received , will get round to
it when I feel a bit better.
Identical reaction as mine. My symptoms lasted two days.
I had the Oxford jab.
Next one due in exactly 16 weeks so hope I don't have the same reaction but if I do I won't be as worried as I was this time because now I know it is only temporary.

You don’t suffer from being anaphylactic do you ? as l know they ask that particular question before giving the jab.

l do hope your feeling better very soon, and has been said ring your family and contact 111 if you don’t feel good.

Get well soon and keep safe, best regards.

Keep us informed please.
People aren't anaphylactic. They can have an anaphylactic reaction to an allergen or allergens. . Typically it develops suddenly and can be life threatening.

Its 1 in 1000 that have a stronger reaction but the Oxford Atrazenica jab has now been confirmed to reduce the chance you will pass on Covid by 70%. Mine was Oxford and I didnt get 'manflu'

Hope you're feeling better soon, BT.

By the way, did anyone else hear what Jeremy Hunt said on the BBCR4 morning news today?

- To the effect that they were now looking to 'alternatives' to "bolster" the defences of the vaccine programme?

Worth a listen on playback I'd think, especially given the WHO's soon to be changing advice re safe, alternative protocols to the vaccine (to be announced in a couple of weeks time, it is currently being reported, Jezza was being coy, but hinting all the same). Some medicines do have a safety track record going back thirty years and more.

Interesting to note also that new vaccines and medicines do not get a go where existing medicines are shown to work🤔. Of course, if they (the existing medicines) have not been 'officially tested', then the pathway is clear for novel medicines to come in. As indeed it would appear to be the case.

Iirc the part in the J Hunt interview was around 07:56 or so, i.e. 56minutes into the programme, just before thenweather; it shouldn't thetefore be too hard to dig the piece out, if you have the BBC Sounds App.

From what I hear they sound all like normal symptoms but just worse than average. Got a Dr friend who had the same symptoms as you after having the AstraZeneca and had a temp of 38.2 . He took himself off for a covid test but it was negative. He was a lot better a few days later.
My theory is that having those symptoms mean that its activating your immune system in the right way and actually doing something.
I had the Pfizer a few weeks ago and had a headache /sore joints/sore arm/achey on day 2 and went to bed early but relativley mild.
