Hello, Have not been good since January with a few symptoms like Long Covid main one is tiredness, not sleeping well, Lack of energy, A chap i know had same for 2 years and only getting better and back to work, I did try and get a GP appointment which fell on deaf ears, My consultant at the Churchill tried to make appointment and still waiting, What are these Tests ?? Let us know how goes ??

Had it when in France last month and spent 2 days holed up in a gîte with the AC cranked-up. Neither garlic nor the superb local wine came close to getting on top of it. Never had it so bad before.

There’s a shjitwrecker if a virus going round, been floored for 3 weeks basically. Still doing things, but hard going. Lots of mucus cough, sore throat, etc. tested negative for Covid 3 times, but I’m not sure the tests work on the current variants to be honest. And, does it matter anymore really?!

I can always tell when I have a bug lurking around as my tinnitus gets really loud and that is exactly what I woke up to this morning! Sort of an early warning system.

I have not8ced thst since I started supplementing with vit D I get a fraction of bugs sniffles colds etc I used to ....

Well, that was 48hrs I hope not to repeat.
Night from hell, resorted to knocking myself out with a couple of codeines left over from post gall bladder op. Plus a sudafed !

Forced myself to do a couple of jobs then broke out in a Niagara of a cold sweat and felt much better. Still a bit brain fogged

Tell tale sign of a virus, pee like treacle.

Covid test neg

There is certainly something going round.

Bugger !

Its back, sore back, bouts of shivering almost uncontrolled , no high temp, permanent head ache. No sleep. Neg covid test. Off to the docs next week. Mrs has been feeling similarly crap as well.

Should probably hoist a plague ship flag at the end of the drive.

Yes, caught whatever it is a few weeks ago. It has left the wife and self washed out and very tired.

If it is Covid, which I'm pretty sure it is, the worst aspect is that unlike 'traditional' seasonal virus outbreaks, it has become a twice annual event and each variant is sufficiently different for existing vaccinations or acquired immunity from previous infections to provide little or no protection.
