Crooked roe antler cause?

Was a clean gralloch, nothing showing anything, will get the head stripped for mounting at the weekend and take a look internally as well.
 
Yeah I've seen a few with mild bends in them or bits missing, this is a first for a 90 deg bend. Must have taken a fair whack at some point
Not as much force as one might think , snagged in a fence in velvet could quite easily do that . Its a nice oddity head though . Roe especially get stuck in the square mesh etc and cavort all over to free themselves with all their weight quite wildly! I have freed a few from fences and they take some holding onto
